CANCELLATION, RETURNS, & REFUNDS POLICY:

At Maria Elena Headpieces & Accessories, each piece is carefully made-to-order in our Miami, FL, Design Studio, reflecting our dedication to heirloom quality, sustainability, and intentional design. We hope you love your piece, but if for any reason you're unsatisfied, please review our return guidelines below. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided production has not yet begun.

• After 24 hours, cancellations are not permitted, as each piece is handcrafted to order.

• If production has already started within the 24-hour window, we reserve the right to decline the cancellation request or deduct applicable costs.

• Custom or personalized orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable once confirmed.

We kindly ask that all cancellation requests be submitted in writing via email to ensure proper documentation and timely review.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY:

We accept returns within 5 days of your order’s delivery date. To initiate a return, please email our Client Care team at info@mariaelenaheadpieces.com with your order number and reason for return.

Please Note:

• For orders containing 3 or more items, refunds are limited to 1 piece only. This condition applies equally to separate orders placed by the same client, regardless of whether they are made on the same day or different days.

• 10% restocking fee on all orders.

• This policy supports our made-to-order model and minimizes unnecessary waste.

• Custom, personalized, and sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

CONDITION OF RETURN:

Returned items must be:

• Unworn, unused, and in original condition

• In original packaging

• With all tags, including the return tag, securely attached and unaltered

Returns will not be accepted if the return tag is removed or tampered with.

SHIPPING & LIABILITY:

• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs

• For assured delivery, kindly utilize a shipping service with tracking capabilities, such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL. It is requested that USPS be avoided, owing to prior instances of delayed shipments.

• Maria Elena Headpieces is not responsible for:

  • Lost or damaged return shipments

  • Packages that are lost, missing, or delivered to the wrong address

  • Carrier delays

• Shipping fees are non-refundable

We cannot refund international duties or taxes. For reimbursement, please contact your local customs bureau.

PROCESSING & DELIVERY TIMES:

• Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

• Orders placed on weekends or national holidays will be processed the following business day.

• If you select an expedited shipping option, it will apply only once the full order is ready to ship, not at the time of purchase.

REFUNDS:

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original form of payment within 5–7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is issued. Please note that a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. 

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS:

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to apply discounts retroactively. This includes both:

• Full-priced items that later go on sale

• Sale items that receive additional markdowns after purchase

All prices at the time of purchase are considered final.

FINAL SALE DISCLAIMER:

All custom, personalized, and sale items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. This policy ensures the integrity of our made-to-order process and the exclusivity of our handcrafted designs.

BLACK FRIDAY & PROMOTIONAL POLICY:

Our Black Friday promotion will begin on November 27 and apply exclusively to eligible products during the promotional period.

• Early Access: We will not honor Black Friday pricing, promotions, or discounts on orders placed before November 27, 2025.

• Sitewide Promotion: The 20% off promotion and complimentary gift with purchases over $2,000 apply only to full-priced items during the official Black Friday sale dates.

• Final Sale Exclusions: Products listed on our Final Sale Page are already discounted and therefore not eligible for additional Black Friday or sitewide promotional discounts.

• All sale and promotional prices are final.

Please note that when ordering mother-of-pearl or any natural pearls, there may be variations in their appearance compared to the pictured images. These pearls are created naturally, and we have limited control over their unique characteristics.

Additionally, all our pieces are meticulously handmade. Due to the craftsmanship involved in this process, each item may exhibit slight variations from the original design, showcasing the individuality of each piece.

Maria Elena's bridal headpieces and accessories are designed as family heirlooms to be passed down for generations to come. We recommend you store your bridal headpiece or accessory in its original packaging and avoid contact with hairspray, perfume, water, and other chemicals.
