Styling Appointment Policies & Procedures

At Maria Elena Headpieces & Accessories, every client experience is designed with the same care and artistry that goes into each heirloom piece we create. To ensure every appointment is seamless, comfortable, and personalized, we kindly ask that you review the following policies and procedures prior to booking your styling session.


✨ Appointment Types & Scheduling

We offer three exclusive tiers of styling experiences — from virtual consultations to in-person couture sessions. Appointments are available by reservation only and can be booked directly through our website.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including date, time, and preparation tips. For virtual sessions, a Google link will be provided in advance.


💍 Deposit & Payment Policy

  • A 100% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • Payments are processed securely through our Shopify checkout system.

  • Your appointment is officially confirmed once payment has been received.

🕊 Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change and appreciate your consideration.

  • Full Refund: Appointments canceled or rescheduled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled time are fully refundable.

  • Non-Refundable: Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable.

  • No-Show Policy: Clients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice will forfeit the full amount paid.


💐 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule, please contact our team at info@mariaelenaheadpieces.com, gisele@mariaelenaheadpieces.com, or annia@mariaelenaheadpieces.com or call (305) 717-0026 at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. We’ll gladly assist in finding a new date that best fits your availability.


🕰 Late Arrivals

We value punctuality to ensure every client receives the full attention they deserve. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, subject to availability.


🏛 In-Person Appointments

All in-person appointments take place at our Miami Design Studio:

To preserve the intimate and personalized nature of our appointments:

  • Guests are welcome to bring up to three (3) companions, with a maximum of four (4) total guests per appointment.

  • Please be mindful that our space is designed for an exclusive and calm experience — additional guests beyond this limit cannot be accommodated.


👗 Bringing Your Gown

You are welcome and encouraged to bring your gown to your styling appointment for inspiration and styling accuracy.

However, please note:

  • Gowns cannot be worn during your appointment.

  • Your gown may be hung nearby to visualize and compare accessory pairings.

  • Maria Elena Headpieces & Accessories is not liable or responsible for any damage, stains, or alterations that may occur to the gown or any other personal items brought into the studio during your appointment.

We take every precaution to maintain a clean and respectful environment, but appreciate your understanding regarding personal belongings.


💻 Virtual Appointments

Virtual consultations are hosted via Google. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit space. You’re welcome to share gown images and inspiration beforehand so our stylists can curate selections tailored to your aesthetic.


👑 Purchases During Appointments

Clients may place orders or reserve pieces during their styling session.

  • All orders must be paid in full. 

  • We can ship your piece, or it can be picked up in the Design Studio. 

  • Production timelines vary by piece; your stylist will review these details with you during your appointment.

Your appointment is a private, personalized experience. All consultations, design notes, and client communications are handled with the utmost discretion. Our goal is to make your time with us as special and inspiring as the heirloom you choose.
