Public Relations Intern
Position Overview:
As a Public Relations Intern, you will support the visibility and reputation of Maria Elena Headpieces through strategic media outreach, influencer relations, and editorial planning. This unpaid internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a collaborative and inspiring luxury fashion environment. You'll assist in developing relationships with editors, stylists, and influencers while gaining valuable experience in brand communications and event PR.
Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media pitches, and PR kits.

Research and maintain media lists of editors, influencers, and stylists.

Coordinate PR mailers and gifting for influencers, celebrities, and editorial contacts.

Track press coverage and compile media reports.

Help manage sample trafficking for editorial shoots and media pulls.

Support planning of trunk shows, collection launches, and VIP events.

Provide administrative assistance to the Marketing and PR team as needed.
Requirements:

Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to tone and detail.

Familiarity with media platforms and publications in the bridal, fashion, and lifestyle space.

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn about luxury branding and fashion PR.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and Notion (training provided as needed).
